Guidelines for abstracts and papers

Registration and abstract submission deadline: early registration and abstract submission deadline February 15, 2011; final registration deadline March 15, 2011.

Paper submission deadline: papers for publication in conference proceedings are accepted throughout January and February 2011. All papers that will be submitted after March 1, 2011 will be published after the conference.

      Guidelines for abstracts

Abstracts may be submitted via Internet only typing the text in special box in the registration form. Abstracts submitted via fax or e-mail will not be accepted. The content of abstract should correspond with one of the sections suggested for the Conference (see GENERAL INFORMATION). This section has to be marked on the registration form where the abstract will be typed in.

 

1. All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English using UK spelling. 

2. Abstracts must contain original material neither published nor presented elsewhere.

3. The structure of abstract should contain the following headings:

 

Objectives

Design and methods

Results

Conclusion

 

Objective(s) - indicate the research hypothesis or questions.

Design and methods - include brief details of subjects, procedures, measures, statistical analyses, or analogies for qualitative approaches.

Results - should be presented as clearly as possible.

Conclusion - briefly discuss the results and emphasize their significance.

 

4. The abstract may not be longer than 1000 symbols.

5. Five keywords should be provided together with the abstract.

6. Graphs, pictures and references should not be inserted into the abstract.

7. Do not use abbreviations in the title of abstract.

8. Abstracts will be presented at paper sessions, workshops, symposiums, or as posters.

9. Abstracts will be subject to a review.

10. The accepted abstracts will be printed in Abstract book (with ISBN code) and distributed at the Conference.

11. In order for an abstract to be published, main author must register and pay the fee, even though he/she is not coming. Then, the second author can become a presenting author.

12. The organizers reserve the right to accept or reject an abstract, to designate papers either as oral or poster presentations and to choose a suitable session for the abstract.

13. Authors will be notified by e-mail of acceptance not later than 1 week after the end of early or late registration, depending on when the paper was submitted.

14. The person who submits the abstract will automatically become the presenting author.

15. Those participants, who would like to submit two abstracts, need to fill in the registration form twice - one registration form for each abstract.

Guidelines for papers

  • Full papers may be submitted as a Word files via e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) accompanied with the letter.
  • All papers must be submitted and presented in fluent English using UK spelling.
  • Papers must contain original material neither published nor presented elsewhere.
  • Papers will be subject to a review. Referee comments will be passed intact to authors. Proofs should be returned to the editor within 2 weeks. The selection of articles for inclusion in the proceedings will be based on these reviews.
  • The accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings book (with ISBN code) and distributed at the Conference.

Manuscripts: The length of the paper should be not longer than 4000 words including the references. The essential contents of paper should be outlined in an abstract (about 150 words). At the end of the abstract a minimum of five key words should be supplied. Manuscripts should be double-spaced, with font size 12 (Times New Roman), and with margins of 2.54 cm on all four sides.

 

Title page: The manuscripts should contain the title page with the name (names) of authors, degree and academic title, present professional affiliations, addresses as well as telephone, fax number and e-mail addresses. The second page of submission contains the abstract and five keywords. The text of paper starts on page 3.

 

Illustrations: only black and white figures, charts, diagrams, drawings or photos should be submitted in tif. or jpg. format both embedded within the article and on the separate sheets at the end of the manuscript. Each illustration should be numbered and refereed to by number in the text.

 

Tables: tables should be both embedded within the article and typed on separate sheets at the end of the manuscript. Each table should be numbered and referred to by number in the text.

      References: references are given at the end of the text. Footnotes should not be used. All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list in APA format.
